The government's top scientists have outlined how England will navigate its way through the coronavirus pandemic.Professor Chris Whitty, chief medical officer for England, and Sir Patrick Vallance, the Government’s chief scientific advisor, gave their expert predictions at the Government's final daily press briefing on Tuesday.Though the spread of the virus continues to shrink nationally, Sir Patrick stressed that COVID-19 remained a global issue, while Prof Whitty emphasised that the virus was likely to be an issue until Spring 2021."Don’t be fooled that this means it has gone away," Prof Whitty told the briefing."The disease is growing across the world.
