Prime Minister Boris Johnson has revealed the governments official advice on holidaying amid the coronavirus outbreak. Speaking at a press conference today (March 3), addressed the public to outline a six-point "battle plan" in place from the UK government to tackle the COVID-19 virus.
A series of measures have been announced in a 27-page action plan following Monday's emergency COBRA meeting, including home-working, bringing NHS staff out of retirement, considering school closures and cancellation of major events.
But despite the plans in place to deal with the outbreak, in most cases, travellers are not being advised to cancel holidays amid the outbreak.
