Pensioners to be told to stay in their house for FOUR MONTHS in coronavirus crackdown

The UK Government is said to be planning to tell pensioners to quarantine themselves at home for FOUR MONTHS as part of efforts to protect them from the coronavirus.

According to ITV, the over-70s will be instructed by the government to stay in strict isolation at home or in their care home as part of a 'wartime-style' mobilisation effort that is expected to be enforced within the next 20 days.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson, English Health Secretary Matt Hancock, chief medical officer Chris Whitty and chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance are said to be preparing a series of dramatic measures to combat the Covid-19 virus , which has infected 1140 people in the UK with 21 deaths.
