A person has died this morning after being hit by a train at a Lanarkshire station.Emergency crews rushed to the scene at Uddingston rail station shortly before 6am after reports of a casualty on the tracks.Sadly the person was pronounced dead at the scene when police and paramedics arrived.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
