Pensioner says he's 'never seen something so horrible' following ordeal on way home from brother's funeral

A pensioner was robbed in the street on the way home from his brother's funeral. Two women ran at him and knocked him to the ground before running off with his phone, wallet and cash, Hull Live reports.

The man, a court heard, was left 'dazed and shocked'. Katie Taylor, 37, from Hull, but recently in custody on remand, admitted robbery.

David Godfrey, prosecuting, told Hull Crown Court the 69-year-old man had been to the funeral of his younger brother on November 17 before going to a gathering at a club on Walton Street, Hull.

It had been an emotional day reflecting on his brother's life with his family and friends, the court heard.
