Mason Hancock doesn’t think Firhill will give Partick Thistle an edge as Airdrie head there in their Premiership play-off quarter-final second leg this evening.And the former Aberdeen defender says staying switched on and aware of Thistle’s threats can see them through to a semi-final against Raith Rovers next week.The tie is locked at 2-2 from Tuesday’s first leg at New Broomfield, with Nikolay Todorov’s early opener cancelled out by strikes from Luke McBeth and Scott Robinson, with Gabby McGill levelling five minutes into the second half.Airdrie have lost 4-0 and 2-1 on both Championship clashes with Partick Thistle in Maryhill, but Hancock doesn’t think that will be a factor.Hanock told Airdrie’s website: “As players we don’t see it as a disadvantage.“They’ll make it tough, as we saw the last time we were there, but I don’t think that comes into play too much.“We know what’s at stake, we’re all up for it, and we’re just really looking forward to it.“We know them individually, we’ve played them enough times.“It’s just about staying switched on, knowing where their threats are, and if we do that I’m confident we can come away on Friday and go into the semi-final.”Hancock reckons Thistle capitalised on Airdrie’s mistakes in the first half on Tuesday, and hopes they can cut that out this time around.“It was two sides going at it, it was really enjoyable to play in,” said Hancock.“On our side, we started well and ended well.“We just had a 10-minute spell in that first half where a few individual mistakes – which are going to happen – caused goals.“If you look back on the goals we’ve conceded against them this season, they’ve just come from our mistakes.“We’re a fit group of lads, I think you see that at the end – they went
