Lanarkshire footballers show support for charity

Players from a Lanarkshire football league promoting mental and physical health showed their support for three charities following a successful inaugural tournament.Team members from Pounds 2 Pitches, based in Hamilton, staged the special event at the home of Blantyre Victoria to raise funds for mental health charities as well as awareness of the important issue.Glenbuck Vets, C9 Foundation, eventual winners Kick Mental Health and the hosts took part in the contest, collecting £360 which was split between Lanarkshire Association for Mental Health and C9, the organisers’ charity partner.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
