However, the band has reassured everyone that those golden codes are on their way, following a massive rush of entries. In a note to their supporters, Oasis assured: "We are aware that many of you are still waiting on a confirmation email.
Rest assured they are on their way, as we process an unprecedented volume of entries. Everyone who has filled out the ballot form by 7pm BST today, Wednesday 28th August, will receive an email where they can confirm their entry in the ballot." Oasis have opened up a 24-hour window for fans to enter a pre-sale ballot, which closes at 7pm on Wednesday.
But it's not just about being quick - fans also need to prove their Oasis knowledge by answering the question: "Who was the drummer in the initial Oasis line up?" The multiple-choice question includes options: Chris Sharrock, Tony McCarroll and Alan White.The correct answer is Tony McCarroll, who was a member of the band until his departure in 1995.
