A neonatal nurse allegedly murdered a ‘resilient’ baby girl after a fourth attempt before sending her parents a sympathy card, a trial has heard.
Lucy Letby, 32, is charged with murdering seven babies and faces 15 attempted murder charges involving ten more children. Ms Letby, of Arran Avenue, Hereford, denies all 22 offences, which allegedly occurred whilst she was working as a neonatal nurse at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.
