Mary Agyapong died of multiple organ failure and Covid-19, a coroner ruled today. The much-loved nurse died on April 12 last year at Luton and Dunstable Hospital, less than a week after doctors delivered her baby by caesarean section.
Before her maternity leave, she had been working as a nurse at the hospital as coronavirus cases in the UK were rising steeply.
