These days, you probably have a lot of time to stream Netflix. But there's only so many old episodes of you can watch, right?

Well, if you're in the mood for another soapy drama stacked with hot people and preposterous stakes, then I have some very good news: Netflix is dropping its new series, , in two weeks, and it looks the perfect blend of and (with, yes, a little thrown in).The show takes place on North Carolina's idyllic Outer Banks: sunny and beachy but with, apparently, a major class divide.

You're either super rich or working two jobs in this town, per narrator John Booker Rutledge (Chase Stokes). The central characters in this story are in the latter category, which is why when they find out John's missing father somehow acquired.
