Michael J. Fox Reveals He Thought One 'Back to the Future' Plot Point Was 'Bizarre'

Looking back, Michael realized that one plot line in particular was “bizarre”: the mother-son plot. Keep reading to find out more… “There’s something about it that people still respond to because it’s so weird,” he said to Variety.
In the 1950s scene, at the “Enchanted Under the Sea” dance, he gets the attention of the woman who turns out to be his future mother. “Not to be crude, but it’s a movie about almost f—ing your mom, and she’s totally ready for it,” he said, adding: “Even at the time, I realized it was bizarre — plus Lea [Thompson] was pretty cute.” At the same time, there’s big news for fans of musicals and Back to the Future!
