Matt O’Riley insists dubious VAR calls won’t disrupt Celtic’s title charge after claiming he was the victim of another “strange” decision yesterday.
The Hoops midfielder is adamant a second-half flashpoint which saw the ball hit his hand after an attempted clearance rebounded off Ross County player Callum Johnson, was further injustice for his side.
Whistler David Munro pointed to the spot, VAR failed to overturn the call and David Cancola gave the Highlanders a lead. But Celtic fought back to win and O’Riley believes they will be relentless in their pursuit of retaining the Premiership crown.
He said: “We have had some strange decisions go against us at the moment but they still can’t stop us, so that is alright. I do not know what I really could have done.
