The image rights firm of Mason Greenwood has been voluntarily placed into liquidation, with the Manchester United forward set to pocket over half a million pounds as a result.

The Mirror reports that information published on Companies House documents shows a voluntary liquidator was assigned for TSM Sports - Greenwood's image rights company - on March 1.

After paying all the bills, Greenwood, who is currently playing on loan for Getafe in Spain, will earn an estimated profit of £508,862.50.

The forward set up TSM Sports back in the summer of 2019. Among the sponsors who dropped Greenwood was Nike, after Manchester United suspended him during a police investigation.
