Marvel‘s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is heading back to production amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The film is hoping to restart production in late July in Sydney, Australia, Deadline reports. The film first began shooting in February, but was shut down due to Coronavirus.
The studio is taking “careful steps” to ensure safety. Everyone arriving in Australia will be immediately quarantined before being able to start work. Simu Liu, Awkwafina and Tony Leung all star in the film.
The film has a release date of May 7, 2021 at the moment and it’s expected to kick off next year’s summer box office. If you missed it, one Marvel star recently called out the studio for lack of diversity.
