In the interview, said that she struggled with fame following her breakout role opposite in 2013's The Wolf of Wall Street, directed by Martin Scorsese. “Something was happening in those early stages and it was all pretty awful, and I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this,’" Robbie told Vanity Fair. "And she just looked at me, completely straight-faced, and was like, ‘Darling, I think it’s too late not to.’ That’s when I realized the only way was forward.”Margot Robbie has since learned how to live her life as an extremely famous person. “I know how to go through airports, and now I know who’s trying to fuck me over in what ways,” she said.
But it still has its downsides. When Robbie and her Suicide Squad co-star/close friend Delevingne were in Buenos Aries in October, a paparazzo tried to take pictures of them as they got into a taxi.
