Three parties are said to have put bids in for the club with the Binnie brothers, former Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley and a consortium involving former Derby chairman Andy Appleby all reportedly interested.
The Rams have until the end of the month to provide proof of funds to the EFL. Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt came through the ranks at the Rams and believes it is a 'tragedy' what has unfolded at his old club.
