Manchester City goalkeeper on offers abroad before Bolton Wanderers loan as Ederson influence grows

James Trafford revealed he has had offers to go abroad to develop is game but the Manchester City loanee is looking forward to sustaining his good form at Bolton Wanderers after taking tips from Ederson.

The 19-year-old has joined Wanderers on loan from City, where he is highly thought of and seen as fourth choice in the goalkeeping department, for the second half of the League One season.

He had previously been on loan at Accrington Stanley but had found game time hard to come by towards the end of his spell there. Before heading to Accrington over the summer, Trafford revealed he could have gone abroad to further his development. But with his aim to eventually become City's number one, he opted to remain in England with the hope it will one day lead to being in the Premier League.
