Cardi B made a speech at Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally last night (November 1), praising the Democratic candidate’s “empathy”.The ‘WAP’ rapper made a speech at the “When We Vote We Win” campaign effort in Milwaukee, following performances by GloRilla, MC Lyte, the Isley Brothers, Flo Milli and DJ Gemini Gilly.Back in July, Cardi reminded her fans that she had endorsed Kamala Harris long before Joe Biden withdrew from the race, saying at the time: “They should’ve passed the torch to Kamala.

This was the perfect moment for her.”Addressing the crowd at the Wisconsin rally, the rapper compared herself to Harris, saying she had been an “underdog” throughout her career too. “I’ve been underestimated.

My success belittled and discredited,” she said. “Women have to work 10 times harder, perform 10 times better, and still, people question us how we got to the top.”She also noted that she hadn’t planned on voting this year, but had changed her mind once Harris entered the race.

Previous to Biden’s dropout, she had criticised him because of his stance on Palestine and his inaction over the economy.“I feel like people got betrayed,” she told Rolling Stone. “It’s just like, ‘Damn, y’all not caring about nobody.’ Then, it really gets me upset that there is solutions to it.
