Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga was named among the substitutes for Sweden's Nations League clash with Serbia on Saturday night - but Erik ten Hag will love his reaction to being dropped.
The 20-year-old, who has scored one goal for his country in six appearances, was brought on in the 64th minute for Sweden as he replaced goalscorer Viktor Claesson.
The United man was unable to impact the remainder of the match as Serbia secured a 4-1 victory over Janne Andersson's side. Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a hat-trick for the home side as Sweden dropped to fourth in Group H of the Nations League. The forward grabbed an assist in the Reds' 2-1 triumph over Liverpool last month, and has performed well when called upon. The youngster came off bench in the victory over Sheriff in the Europa League, and was an unused substitute in the impressive victory over Arsenal in United's last Premier League match.
