Manchester United are set to revive their interest in Villarreal defender Pau Torres - according to reports. Torres, 25, was earmarked as a possible target for United during the last two summer windows.
However, the club signed Raphael Varane in time for last season before Erik ten Hag vetoed the pursuit in order to snap-up Argentina international Lisandro Martinez from his former club Ajax this summer.
Ten Hag also brought in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Antony and Martin Dubravka in his first window since arriving at Old Trafford.
However, while that marked a successful recruitment drive, plans are now being put in place for January and beyond - with Torres seemingly re-emerging on their radar. READ MORE: Ronaldo pictured with black eye La Razón suggest United are set to come back in for the Spanish international.
