A Fife couple have described their horror after they saw their new car burn to a crisp while scrolling through Facebook. Craig and Natalie Mason's black Ford Fiesta was parked near to Natalie's business, Beauty Mechanic, on Main Street, Kinglassie on Wednesday, October 12, when a fire caused their car to go up in flames.

Craig, 40, told the Daily Record, he only discovered their month-old vehicle may have been caught up in the blaze after seeing a video which was posted on social media.

He said: "The car was parked in the carpark across from my wife's shop, which is about 10 minutes away from our house. I just happened to be having a look on Facebook when I scrolled past a video of a fire and read a comment saying it was in Kinglassie."When I watched the video I recognised the pickup truck and knew it was near our car.

I rushed through to see what was happening.". A pick-up truck parked nearby the couple's car on Lochty Avenue was deliberately torched at around 10.15pm.
