The Etihad Stadium will host East Manchester's first Andy's Man Club sessions, Manchester City have announced. In a bid to offer male supporters and local residents a safe, judgement-free space to discuss issues in their personal lives, City have teamed up with Andy's Man Club to host the weekly sessions at the Etihad.
The group will become the first Andy's Man Club sessions in East Manchester, following a successful launch of a branch in Ashton-under-Lyne which attracted 70 men for the first session earlier this month.
The Andy's Man Club sessions in Oldham is one of the largest in the country by average attendance, with over 180 clubs nationwide which currently support over 4,000 men.
Andy's Man Club was founded in 2016 as a suicide prevention charity offering free peer-to-peer support groups for males over the age of 18.
