‘Love Lies Bleeding’ Star Katy O’Brian Signs With Gersh
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Love Lies Bleeding breakout star Katy O’Brian has signed with Gersh. O’Brian had been taking meetings all around town after the film bowed in Sundance and earned her a ton of praise and ultimately chose to go with Gersh as her new reps.
O’Brian leads A24’s Love Lies Bleeding from director Rose Glass. The romantic thriller bows on March 15 and follows Jackie (O’Brian), an aspiring bodybuilder as she moves to rural Nevada and falls in love with an employee at her new local gym, Lou (Kristen Stewart), and is introduced to the chaotic and damaging world of steroids.
The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim and will receive a wide theatrical release on March 15th.
Later this year, she will star in Universal’s highly anticipated feature Twisters opposite Daisy Edgar Jones and Glen Powell.
