On Sunday night, the Lionesses will face off against Germany's national team in the final of the Women's Euro 2020 football tournament.
And nobody know what it feels like to play for your country on such an important scale than former captain Casey Stoney, 40, and current team member Jordan Nobbs, 29, who is sadly missing out on the tournament due to injury.
Between them, Casey and Jordan know the immaculate highs of being a Lioness, but have also seen the dark side, admitting that loneliness and sacrificing their personal lives is the price they have paid to represent their country. "I played for many years when I had a job so you sacrifice so much to be a Lioness," Casey exclusively tells OK!. "I think being a Lioness means a responsibility to change the game. "It means growth, it means trying to win, it means resilience, and one of the big things I took from being a Lioness was togetherness and a real good work ethic together. "We knew we were going to fight for everything no matter what and against all odds we'd try to win.
Being a Lioness was very special and I don't think you ever stop being one because then you become the biggest fan too," she continued.
