Livingston confirm signing of Hibs youngster on long-term deal following successful trial

Livingston have confirmed the signing of winger Steven Bradley from Hibs for a nominal fee.The 20-year-old will train with the Lions but the move won't become official until the start of the winter transfer window on January 1.The youngster, who featured as a trialist for Livi in friendly victories over FK Liepaja and Fortuna Sittard last week, signs on a two-and-a-half year deal with the Tony Macaroni Arena outfit.Bradley made his professional debut for Queen's Park in a League Two clash with Annan Athletic before earning a move to Easter Road.

He went on to make five appearances for Hibs whilst having loan spells at Ayr United and Irish top flight side Dundalk.He made 35 appearances and netted six goals during the Irish season, which ended last month.Speaking to the Courier, Lions gaffer David Martindale said: "He did really well when he went away.

When I look at what he brought to the team, he did really well and I was pleased with his progress."The off the ball stuff, I was pleasantly surprised.

On the ball, I knew what he could do but his game knowledge and game management in both games was very impressive."The Liepaja game, he scored a great goal and the Sittard match he played well against top opposition."He added: "I'm looking forward to working with him.
