Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

On Snapchat, he guided followers through his day's agenda, which included horse riding and possibly playing Polo - a sport he described as challenging, candidly opening up about the aches it could cause.The former One Direction member, who was just 31 years old, also shared his passion for art with his 1.32 million subscribers by showcasing some artwork around him.
Additionally, he posted an image of a black dog sleeping between his legs, playfully asking his followers to "caption this." These posts were made merely 45 minutes prior to the announcement of Liam's passing.
