Leon Bridges has announced his fourth studio album ‘Leon’, and has released a sun-drenched new track called ‘Peaceful Place’ from the project.The upcoming album is due to come out on October 4 via Columbia – pre-order and pre-save it here.

In the meantime, Bridges has released ‘Peaceful Place’ from ‘Leon’ – a sun-drenched and hope-fuelled soulful anthem.‘Leon’ has been in the works for a while, according to Bridges.

It was recorded with producer Ian Fitchuk at Mexico’s El Desierto studio, and with co-producer Daniel Tashian in Nashville.In a statement about the upcoming project, he said: “’Leon’ has been a long-time coming.

I started writing pieces of it as far back as Gold-Diggers Sound. They didn’t fit what I was trying to do with that album and I tried moving on.
