Lawless rave-goer who turned violent after Braehead Coloursfest gets jail term

A violent rave-goer has been jailed for 20 months after attacking a man in a car park after a music festival.Brute Sultan Siddiqi chased Jonathan Kerr around a parked car at Braehead and repeatedly punched, kneed and kicked his head and body.After the thug was arrested on August 6, cops found him to be in possession of 14 ecstasy tablets.The 28-year-old, who has five previous convictions for assault was slammed by Sheriff Brian Mohan who said, “drink, drugs and his propensity for violence makes him a risk to others”.

Prosecutor Edwin Sheeran previously told Paisley Sheriff Court Coloursfest was taking place at the Braehead Arena and the brutal assault took place in the car park.
