Lanarkshire Ska band announce summer festival dates

Fans of The Clash are in for a treat as a popular Lanarkshire Ska band get ready to tour the country.The Dughoose Ska band have announced a string of summer and autumn festival dates in and around Lanarkshire including Hangarfest Strathaven and Bothwell Scarecrow Festival supporting 90s headliners Toploader.Formed in 2017, the eight-piece is a collective of like-minded mates who enjoy all things Ska.

Expect to hear classic Ska/two tone tunes by bands like The Clash, The Specials, Madness and The Beat, with some cleverly thought out tunes from established artists coupled with some original material they aim for audiences to join in with for a fun night out.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Following successful gigs at Scottish festivals and iconic Glasgow venues such as King Tut's The Dughoose Ska Band released their debut seven track EP Unleashed in 2019.
