Katie Holmes Pays Tribute to 'Dawson's Creek' Co-Star Obi Ndefo After His Death

On Saturday (August 31), Obi‘s sister announced on Facebook that the actor and yoga instructor had died at the age of 51.
The following day, Katie, 45, took to her Instagram Story to pen a sweet message to her former co-star. Keep reading to find out more…“He was wonderful to work with and such a kind man,” Katie wrote along with a screenshot from a reel posted by fellow Dawson’s Creek star Mary-Margaret Humes. “I send prayers and grace to his family,” Katie continued. “Rest in Peace.” If you didn’t know, Obi played Bodie Wells, who was the boyfriend of Katie‘s character Joey Potter’s older sister Bessie Potter (Nina Repeta), on the hit teen drama from 1998 to 2002.
As of right now, no other details about Obi‘s death, including the cause, have been revealed yet. Our continued thoughts are with Obi Ndefo‘s loved ones during this difficult time. RIP.
