Kate Middleton's sudden reappearance has sparked a bizarre new theory among Americans on TikTok as the 42-year-old was spotted for the first time this year yesterday.

The whereabouts of the Princess of Wales has been a trending topic since Kate's noticeable absence in recent months as she recovers from her “planned abdominal surgery” in January. However, on Monday March 4, the future Queen finally broke her cover as she was snapped wearing dark sunglasses and sitting in a car next to her mother, Carole Middleton. The photo is understood to have been taken near Windsor Castle by an authorised paparazzi and The Daily Record has chosen not to publish it.However, a strange new theory about Kate's absence has now been brought to light by a popular TikTok royal commentator with 1.3m followers, the Mirror reports.Amanda Matta, who goes by the user, @matta_of_fact on the platform has noticed something peculiar about the recent shot as they hinted that the snap may not be as candid as it seems to be.The TikToker believes to have picked up on an eerie pattern in Kate's behaviour when she is going through difficult times. In a video which has gained over 1.5m views, Amanda says: “The car paparazzi shot is Kate Middleton’s go-to move when she wants to be seen but doesn't want to answer any questions.” The mum-of-three is still recovering and has not yet returned to her royal duties so it's highly unlikely that the shot was a curated "move" on Kate's part.Further explaining her theory, the social media star gives several examples from previous occasions when the princess wanted to be seen but not spoken to.Amanda cites Kate’s first appearances after Harry took swipes at her in his tell-all memoir Spare, the Sussexes' bombshell interview
