Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981), occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer.

Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.

Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

Justin Timberlake was arrested on the morning of Monday 17 June for driving while under the influence in Sag Harbor, Hamptons, after reportedly getting caught swerving and running a stop sign.

In his mugshot released the following day, the star could be seen staring blankly at the camera with prominently bloodshot eyes.

Apparently, Justin left the American Hotel around 12:30AM, where he had been enjoying time with friends. He was reportedly en route to his residence when he was intercepted by the police.

Law enforcement insiders told TMZ that the Sexy Back singer seemed "glassy-eyed" and commented that he reeked of alcohol. The pop star apparently failed to pass the field sobriety test as he encountered difficulties in walking, turning and balancing on one foot.
