Incoming Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin insists he has no intention of moving to Pittodrie earlier than June despite his Elfsborg side crashing to their third defeat in a row.

The Swedish boss has agreed to take charge of Aberdeen, becoming Barry Robson's permanent successor, after his club's final game before their split against IFK Gothenburg on June 1.

But last season's runners-up have made a disastrous start to their season and have now lost three games in ten days - with the latest coming this week when they threw away a 2-0 half time lead to lose 4-2 at Norrkopping.

That's left them floundering in fourth bottom place after five games and there has been plenty of discussion in Sweden about whether Thelin's announcement has impacted Elfsborg's recent performances.
