ITV's Epic Gameshow has reportedly been axed, but host Alan Carr isn't too bothered.The Saturday night show, which aired three successful seasons, was previously announced as being 'rested', according to ITV insiders.
However, it seems that the family-friendly game show, which debuted in 2020 and won over fans with its nostalgic nod to retro game shows, won't be returning this year.
Reports suggest that ITV has officially decided to cancel the show. But don't worry about Alan, 47 - a source says he won't take it 'too hard' due to his many other projects.They revealed to The Sun: "Alan won't be taking this too hard as the three seasons Epic Gameshow ran for on ITV were well received and it's not like he's short of other projects." The source added: "On ITV alone, he has a prime-time game show Password coming up later this year, as well as a second series of his autobiographical comedy-drama Changing Ends." ITV declined to comment.
The source also mentioned Alan's other successful projects, such as his show with Amanda Holden. Earlier this month, ITV confirmed that Mamma Mia!
