Joanna Tweedale appeared on the beloved ITV quiz show in 2020 and was soon faced with the stiff task of taking on one of the UK’s most knowledgeable quizzers.
The 51-year-old, who admitted to being a “huge fan” of Bradley Walsh, said she went on the show to tick something off of her bucket list.
Speaking about her time on the show, Joanna told the Wiltshire Times: "I'd been on The Weakest Link some years ago, but didn't do very well. "Let's just say I was the Weakest Link, goodbye." "But The Chase is a great show, I love Bradley and I had a big birthday so I just thought 'Why not?'" Joanna also revealed that the whole process took 18 months in total - including a six-month wait for an interview - before she finally found herself standing next to Bradley.
