A beautiful townhouse in Tuscany that was renovated by Amanda Holden and Alan Carr has now hit the market for £188,160. The friends took on the task of transforming the derelict property, which they bought for €1, during the second series of their BBC show Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job.

The first series saw the Britain's Got Talent judge and comedian, who have been good friends for years, head to Sicily where they worked together to turn combine two run-down flats into a lovely two-bed apartment.

This time, the duo ventured to Tuscany in a bid to take on their second joint home renovation project. During the eight-part series, which aired in January, Amanda and Alan rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into bringing a crumbling 17th century townhouse back to life.

The pair's project was in the village of Fornovolasco, which has a population of fewer than 100 people, and overlooks the stunning scenery of the Turrite di Petrosciana river and surrounding mountains.
