First Minister Humza Yousaf will stage a rushed meeting of his Cabinet at 8.30am this morning amid pressure on him to ditch the Greens from Government.A source declined to comment on the subject matter and refused to say if the SNP/Green deal is on the agenda.The insider said the meeting was nothing to do with Operation Branchform, as this was a a police investigation into SNP finances.The Greens are to hold an internal party vote on an agreement with the SNP that was signed in 2021.But a growing number of SNP MSPs and MPs want Yousaf to axe the deal before the Greens walk away.Veteran Nationalist Christine Grahame is the latest senior figure to call for the deal to end.This is a breaking news story - more to follow.
