It's not been a vintage start to the season for United with the defeat to Brighton on Saturday highlighting even more issues for Erik ten Hag's side, yet the Champions League could offer a distraction from domestic woes.
United will have to contend with several absences for the game. Meanwhile, Bayern could be able to call upon Raphael Guerreiro and Kingsley Coman after they both returned to training.
