After being lashed by a thunderstorm yesterday, Greater Manchester is heating up to 23C today (Tuesday 17 May), making it hotter than Monaco.
Mancunians will wake up to warm sunshine this morning, after early low cloud and mist lifts. There will be plenty of sunny intervals and conditions will remain 'predominantly dry' from the morning through to the afternoon, according to the Met Office.
Temperatures will peak at 23C from around 3pm as the sun continues to shine, mirroring the fine weather the region had on Saturday.
