Harry Styles hopped onstage for the first time in nearly a year during Stevie Nick‘s concert at BST Hyde Park for a very special occasion.
The 30-year-old “Watermelon Sugar” crooner joined the 76-year-old icon to duet “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” and “Landslide” in honor of Stevie‘s late Fleetwood Mac bandmate and friend, Christine McVie. Keep reading to find out more… “At the end of the show, since the end of last year and since Christine passed away, I would say something about her, and I asked Harry to do this with me,” Stevie said while onstage, via Variety. “It’s a lot to ask someone to sing a heavy song about a best friend that died so suddenly and so sadly.” She continued, saying, “What I want to say to you is that Christine was Harry’s girl, she was my girl, she was your girl, and she loved all of you, and today was her birthday.” Harry held her hand during the impassioned speech, which you can see on X (formerly Twitter). Christine passed away at the age of 79 in November 2022.
Last year, Stevie explained why her passing likely signified the end of Fleetwood Mac. This marked Harry‘s first performance since the conclusion of his Love On Tour in late July, 2023.
