GOOD Morning Britain viewers are in hysterics as a guest "fat-shamed" Santa by saying he's at high risk of catching Covid. Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins asked expert Professor Emer Shelley whether it would be safe for Father Christmas to come into people's houses.

However, no one seemed prepared for the very detailed response in reply. The expert told the panel that they assessed the many risks of Santa crossing the border in order to give presents to the world's children.

And one of those risk factors was that Santa was overweight - putting him in the "at risk" category for coronavirus. She said: "Yes, we've considered whether or not Santa Claus can travel this Christmas.
