Gisele Bundchen Speaks About Her Life After Tom Brady Divorce, Admits It's Not What She Dreamed of

Gisele Bündchen is not looking back following her divorce from Tom Brady. The 43-year-old supermodel and entrepreneur and 46-year-old former NFL quarterback ended their marriage in September 2022, 12 years after tying the knot.

In a new CBS News Sunday Morning interview set to air on September 24, Gisele opened up about divorcing Tom and how she has gone about life since. Keep reading to find out more… “I think it’s not what I dreamed of and what I hoped for.

My parents have been married for 50 years, and I really wanted that to happen,” Gisele said. “But I think you have to accept you know sometimes that the way you are in your 20s, it’s sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart.” Gisele and Tom share two children: their son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10.

Although affirming that she’s in a “different place” since their divorce, she expressed her appreciation for the role Tom has served in her life. “He’s the father of my kids,” she said. “So I always wish him the best, and I’m so grateful that he gave me wonderful children.” Gisele is now focusing on herself, as she has led a Louis Vuitton campaign, returned to Victoria’s Secret, and attended the Met Gala solo, all in 2023. “I think before I was more surviving, and now I’m living, which is different,” she said.
