Giovanni Pernice's ex-Strictly partner to come forward with evidence amid BBC investigation

The pair reached the finals only to be beaten to the trophy by Scots Holby City star Joe McFadden and Katya Jones.In light of prior complaints against Pernice made by ex-contestant Amanda Abbington, the BBC has instigated a probe, details of which are still to be confirmed.Amanda was the pioneer in raising concerns about "inappropriate" behaviour and described a "toxic environment" during her stint with Giovanni, who has since denied these accusations reports the Manchester Evening News.
When quizzed on GB News about whether she'd been approached for the investigation, Debbie stated, "I don't know if I'm allowed to say or not, but yes, I have.
It's all very secret, and I'm sure everybody else who's ever danced with him, and people that have worked alongside him, would have been asked to give evidence, too, so I just hope it all turns out well for all parties."She expressed her belief that the BBC will carry out the examination "very thoroughly" and anticipates that "a lot of people" with insights into the show will be approached to provide their accounts.
