ok.co.ukJames Corden has sent Gavin and Stacey fans into a frenzy by sharing a behind-the-scenes snap from the first day of filming.The nation is eagerly awaiting the return of the beloved BBC sitcom, which was confirmed earlier this summer.There have been no new episodes since the last special in 2019, but the show's comeback was finally announced in May.
By July, it was revealed that the script was finished and production was underway. James, who plays the character of Smithy - tipped to tie the knot with Nessa in the upcoming series - took to social media to tease fans ahead of the show's return.The 46 year old star shared a photo from the set, adding to the growing anticipation.
He posted a picture of Smithy's work van, complete with an advert reading: "Smithy's: if your husband won't do it I will...Tilin, roofin, plasterin, & feng shui.
Call me on 07700978978." Alongside the image of the lovelorn handyman's vehicle, James captioned: "Day 1. Here we go x", reports the Mirror .
