Gang of racist thugs batter woman wearing Hijab with plank of wood in Glasgow

A 50-year-old woman was 'attacked' and racially abused by a gang of Scots teenagers near a Glasgow subway station. The woman, who wears a Hijab, was allegedly cornered by the group of teens who shouted Islamophobic and classist slurs in the horrific ordeal around 1.30pm on Monday near Ibrox.

She was subjected to the abuse while one male allegedly 'pushed her around' before hitting her on the face with a plank of wood.

Following the sick attack the woman's daughter took to social media in a bid to identify those responsible. Posting on her Instagram story, she said: "This group of teenagers cornered and attacked my Hijabi 50-year-old mother at 1.50pm whilst shouting Islamophobic and classist slurs.

In Ibrox, Glasgow."After pushing her around the male photographed in the next slide with his finger up hit her on the front of her head/face with a plank and wood and left her injured."Please help us find them/share.
