A fuming homeowner continued a long-running parking feud by leaving angry notes on the windscreens of cars parked in their street.
The anonymous messages were stuck to a number of vehicles on British Road in the Bristol area of Bedminster last March. They claim to be written on behalf of "the residents of British Road" and urge car owners to "park on [their] own street".
The signs appeared when locals woke up on a Sunday morning, and they are the latest chapter in disputes around parking in the area, Bristol Live reports. The messages read: “Dear vehicle owner/driver, The residents of British Road have noticed that you park on this street regularly, yet do not live on this street.“Please be mindful of the residents who wish to park near their own properties.
We respectfully ask you to park your vehicle on the street that you live on, in future."One of the notices was attached to an unmarked van, which had a ‘BT engineer on call' sign on the dashboard.
