Lights, camera, action – East Kilbride’s new film festival has got off to a great start.The town’s arts centre was the venue for the inaugural event from Fulfilment Pictures.Their FP Arts Short Film Festival was a smash hit and the next one will be on Friday, July 19.A spokesperson for the event said: “The films were phenomenal, and everyone truly enjoyed themselves.“Festival director Robin De Vernon Ryding and the team at Fulfilment Pictures, along with their sponsors, aim to make a difference in the community by establishing a film hub in East Kilbride.“Their goal is to create opportunities not just for filmmakers and creatives but for anyone who wants to come along, see eight short films, and have a good time.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
