A security guard who died at a Scots supermarket has been named by police after a woman was charged with culpable homicide. Alun Harris-Richards passed away after emergency crews were called to Asda superstore in Westway Retail Park in Arbroath at 7.25pm on Sunday.Ambulance crews had received reports a man was unresponsive in the shop.
Despite the best efforts of medics, 61-year-old Alun was pronounced dead at the scene. His heartbroken family have now released a touching tribute, issued through Police Scotland.They said: “Alun was a much-loved husband, father, and bampy and will be missed by all his family and everyone who knew him.
Thank you to the emergency services and all those who assisted. We would like to ask for privacy at what is a very difficult time as we come to terms with our sudden loss.”The family has asked for privacy.
