Already being deemed as a controversial World Cup due to issues surrounding the welfare of migrant workers, corruption and more, fans have flocked to Qatar to see their nation in action on the global stage in a bid to bring home the famous trophy.

Yet viewers around the world were shocked to see empty seats in the opener between the hosts and Ecuador, with many lambasting the integrity and genuine nature of the competition.

Despite this, stadiums have since appeared to have been relatively packed for the following ties which have included England's 6-2 win over Iran and Saudi Arabia's shock 2-1 win over tournament favourites Argentina.
